curious event:

today i was on my french class and the teacher was trying to keep us talking in french and she was asking what was the best and the worst invention of man. when it got to my turn, i said that science was the best, and religion the worst. and the exercise wanted you to explain why each. but once i said the worst was religion the teacher turns to me and says: i'm sorry patricia, but according to the politics of Alliance Française we cannot discuss religious matters. And right when she said that a kid from my class (the only one) which is 14 years old turns to me: hey you! i'm a scout. and while he says this he looks at me like you're a disrespectful person and i'm the right one. i could only answer: and...? the teacher could only repeat the same thing to him that she said to me. but it's amazing, maybe if i said politics no one would say anything. but that's the world we live in, religion is the subject you're not suppose to talk. more important i would like to see a religious person saying that science is the worst invention and see what would come from there.
