movies:

dead poet society: well good advised movie. i really enjoyed it and as always robin williams never disappoints with its performance, especially on a theme that it is been talked kind of thanks to one portuguese commercial and that really makes me thing about how free we real are. but it is preferable to know how restricted you are than being fooled by the illusion of freedom that is so advertised.

cracks: probably one of the most expressive movies i have ever seen. the plot is not very complex but involves a higher level of emotion. i consider that the composition of the movie is really good and the setting is well-adapted.

pretty persuasion: kind of a disappointment movie although evan rachel  woods always has very good performances and this one is no exception.

a single man: the best composition and filming i have ever seen, the simmetry and the colour, the expressions. i think it is a little bit complicated the cross timing scenes with the flashbacks and also i think julianne moore should have had a more important role which is compensated by the amazing performance of colin firth.

uncertainty: i was expecting more but still an action, drama and mystery movie that helps passing the time.

cashback: the narration of the main character and the filming is really interesting but i think the plot could have been more explored than the one presented in the movie. although the interesting details and an interesting beginning the movie can get monotonous after a while.

blow: i loved this movie. an amazing plot and an excellent performance by johnny depp.

music:

we were promised jetpacks: this is really an interesting band an indie rock with some kind of death cab for cutie style in some songs with a higher level of rock. i watched their show this afternoon and it was good although the voice of the singer is not as good as on the recordings.

moonlit sailor: i am really in love with this band right now and fortunetly i am going to be able to watch them alive this weekend. instrumental indie style very close to explosions in the sky. the song 'a week without sunlight' is definitly my favourite.

passion pit: i started now hearing this band and it is quite good, although is kind of a bit more indie pop from what i am used to.

tiago bettencourt: o último álbum digamos que não me surpreendeu muito, mas de certa forma gosto mais do primeiro em termos de coesão e no conjunto e, sem dúvida que está mais próximo de toranja do que o primeiro cd com os mantha.
